God Wants To Prosper Us

Another really important fact about God that is undeniably true is that His purpose is to prosper us, give us extravagant lives and amazing futures (and He’s not just talking about Heaven). Jesus says this in John 10:10 where He speaks about the abundant life He died and rose to give us. Even the Old Testament in Jeremiah 29:11 makes clear that God has promised us a future and a hope. Yet, many people feel God is out to punish them, and live in mortal fear, running away from Him, and toward their idols and sin instead. Romans 2:4 talks about God’s kindness leading us to repentance. This is what grace is all about. Now this does not mean that it is ok to go and sin, in order to receive His grace. Romans 6:1-2 answers this .........
